ABOUT NZIM EVENTS
NZIM has a great variety of events for 2007. We endeavour to bring to you great "real life" business stories with topics covering the core business areas: Leadership, Change Management, HR/Organisational Change, Legal/Economic, International Global Issues, Finance and Governance. We aim to give you some information to take back to your workplace, and inspiration in your management career. We welcome members and non members to all our events. Event notices are posted to the website prior to the event. Some event dates may change subject to Speaker availability.
AUCKLAND NETWORKING EVENTS
Our Auckland events are bought to you in conjunction with DLA Philips Fox who provide their boardroom venue and Management Magazine who keep us up to date with New Zealand's management trends and trendsetters. These events are a chance for you to keep abreast with information and network with other like minded managers.
Should you be unable to attend the event in person we are pleased to offer our members the advantage of joining the presentation via the Web. WebEx Communications will host these meetings - you need to register with us to receive your complimentary access code.
REGIONAL EVENTS
For those of you living and working outside of Auckland we are working with associated groups to provide you with meetings at a venue near you. Keep watching the calendar as we confirm dates and speakers.

You can register your attendance for all NZIM Events online. To secure your place simply make a payment. Please specify which event you would like to attend in the comments section of the payment page.

2008 CALENDAR OF MEMBERS EVENTS
- Business Leadership Awards – Young Executive of the Year (YEYA) Regional Award Breakfast & Top 200 Business Awards – National Young Executive of the Year Awards Dinner.
- Overseas Speakers Events – Special NZIM membership rates for high profile Business Speaker events. Approx 4 annually. We start with Stephen Covy in March
- Networking Lunch Seminars & Webseminar – Best Business Practice case presentation by local managers in the Northern region held every 6 weeks in the boardroom of DLA Phillips Fox, Central City. Attend in person or via your PC over the web. (1.5hrs)
- Management Soundbites – Take a break & learn - free breakfast and lunch sessions – Numbers limited – Updates with Key Facilitators discussing the latest business issues with a different topic each month. (1Hr)
- Northern Regional Networking: Whangarei and Hamilton Networking events are held in conjunction with other business organizations.
- Leading Women in Management – Key Speakers discuss Management from a Women’s perspective.
- International Consortium – Attend the ASTD Convention in San Diego, US in June with The NZIM Auckland Consortium. A motivated group of NZ managers will travel together and share the experience of this International Convention – have cocktails with the keynote speakers, attend session debriefs and their application to the NZ market
