18th August Networking Lunch - Feedback the Breakfast of Champions - Yeah Right!

18th August Networking Lunch - Feedback the Breakfast of Champions - Yeah Right!

Feedback – the Breakfast of Champions. - Yeah Right!
presented by Geoff Wake

Why is it when offering ‘constructive criticism’ to someone, you can be pretty sure they’ll interpret that to mean just criticism with nothing constructive about it.  Even the term “feedback” can be cringe inducing for many with its negative associations.  Why is it so difficult to seek out customer feedback, the good, the bad and the ugly, acknowledge and accept it, and then use the information constructively to create greater customer value?

Explore how a team of insurance underwriters used neuro-semantics (NS) as a tool to create ‘champion states’ and turn negative feedback into valuable information.  This case study presented by Geoff Wake of Amalgam Consulting Ltd will show how the team used the feedback to rapidly change behaviours, enhance service delivery and reduce customer complaints to zero!

15th September Networking Lunch - Corporate Story Telling

15th September Networking Lunch - Corporate Story Telling

"Organisational Story Telling"
Guest Speaker: Wade Jackson

The Power of Story – storytelling for leaders

Everything and everyone has a story. And every organisation today has a culture consisting of values, stories and rituals. Stories communicate the language of the heart and express all our emotions and feelings. Stories are used to inspire and influence people, to communicate values, to give meaning, to share knowledge, to build trust, to overcome conflict, to sell products, to make connections and help us remember ideas and concepts.

The Power of Story gives people the knowledge and experience of how to improve their communication skills on a daily basis. People will walk away from this session with practical and powerful tools including an easy to use storytelling methodology that they will be able to put to immediate use.

This presentation covers:

  • How to influence and inspire
  • How to embed values within an team/organisation
  • 3 stories every leader must know
