The NZIM Management Model defines four key attributes of Management,

The NZIM Management Model,

capability
· Links managers development needs with NZIM Learning Programmes

The model was sourced from the research of a wide range of international leaders in management thinking including, Jim Collins, independent researcher and author “Good to Great”, John Kotter, Konosuke Matsushita Professor of Leadership at Harvard Business School & David Ulrich, Professor of Business Administration at the University of Michigan.
