Projects are increasingly becoming more complex and critical to the operations of organisations. As a result project management is fast becoming a recognised profession. The Project Management Institute (PMI) has over 250,000 members in over 170 countries, and is arguably the leading membership association for the project management profession. The PMP® is internationally recognised, and serves to demonstrate the credentials of the individual project manager.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This programme is designed to prepare participants for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP®) examination leading to the PMP qualification.
Note that the PMI have a number of pre-requisites for the PMP®, including the following:

High School Diploma or global equivalent
|
Minimum of 5 years (60 months) unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks

35 contact hours of formal education

Minimum of 3 years (36 months) unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The programme is an intensive series of workshops focussing on preparation for the PMP® examination. The programme includes a mock examination at the end of the 3 days. Please note that candidates need to make a separate application to PMI for membership and to sit the actual PMP® examination.
