14th September Hamilton Networking Lunch - Dr Andrew West

"A Recipe for Economic Survival for New Zealand".
Guest Speaker: Dr Andrew West, Head of Strategy for Seales Ltd and previously Chief Executive of AgResearch.

Using the same strategy that got us here is not going to get us somewhere else. But what will?

To date New Zealand has had a penchant for impatient, speculative, intra-generational investment. This strategy has had dismal consequences in terms of long-run, relative, economic performance, with a focus on capital, skills and research. Dr West proposes a series of policy changes that are likely to create a penchant for patient, productive and inter-generational investment.

Join us for an informative, thought provoking session.
