Kevin has had three careers to date covering Information Technology, Human Resource Management, and Management Consulting.  Kevin has worked in Europe and Canada, as well as New Zealand.  He has held roles as a Project Manager with the Ford Motor Company, Partner with Deloittes, General Manager with the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand and Carter Holt Harvey, and Chief Executive with NZIM.  He holds a double major in Information Management and Business Management and is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management, the Australian Institute of Management, the Human Resource Institute of New Zealand, and the Australian Human Resources Institute.  He has written a wide range of articles on Business Management and has a regular column in Management Magazine.  He has also been a keynote conference speaker, both in New Zealand and overseas.  Kevin is currently the Chair of the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre and a part time Voluntary Coastguard.  Kevin is deeply interested in how organisations work and in helping them improve their capability to achieve their objectives."

I joined NZIM Auckland in late 2001 and have been leading the Learning Programmes Team since 2003. Prior to my role with the Institute I was with Westpactrust as a Human Resource Consultant, Manpower Recruitment as an Account Manager and Restaurant Brands as their Northern Training and Development Manager. With my background and the diverse range of industries I have been able to use all of my skills and experience in this one role. My role includes Programme Development Programme Design, Needs Analysis, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, and Budgeting. Training and Development has always been a passion of mine and whilst being with the New Zealand Institute of Management, the role has further developed by skills enormously.

Tania has graduated from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) with a Bachelor of Business (BBus) and a New Zealand Diploma of Business (NZDipBus). Her papers have mainly consisted of Management and Human Resources as these have both been relevant fields of interest to her.  She has joined NZIM after working several years with Air New Zealand as a reservation consultant and has a particular interest in Learning and Development.

Jordan joined our Learning and Development team in April 2009. Having recently completed his Bachelor of Business in marketing degree, Jordan is eager to begin his career in the industry and learn the essential skills to be successful. Jordan has a keen enthusiasm for learning and self development, as well as helping others achieve their goals, which fits perfectly with NZIM’s mission to build leadership and organisational capability.

Tait is the latest edition to the team joining NZIM in July 2009. Prior to coming on board in his role as L&D Business Consultant, Tait's background has mainly been in business development and consulting within the executive recruitment, training and professional services industries in both New Zealand and Australia. Tait has worked with leading international agencies in senior business development and recruitment roles and was also responsible for consultant training on a national basis specialising in online training technologies and staff retention strategies. Tait has had exposure to working within a wide range of industries from large corporate and government clients to working with smaller privately owned companies in the SME markets, he has a passion for dealing with a variety of people and is equally driven to help companies achieve their company goals and targets through specialised and professional training solutions.
